The Annual Teaching With Purpose Conference (TWPC), educates, inspires and informs teachers, administrators, parents, students and community organizers about the importance of changing the educational system and teaching to empower the next generation to make a difference.
An education conference that’s happened annually for 10 years, Teaching With Purpose brings together teachers, administrators, parents, and students to set up an accountability system under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The conference seeks to strengthen Portland’s network of educators and activate equity-focused policy within the education system.
