We provide safe places around the world for sober travelers to rediscover the joy of vacationing! We create group vacation experiences for sober and sober-friendly travelers. We are based in Austin, Texas but we provide safe sober spaces all over the world.
We are people in recovery who take vacations with other people in recovery – and we want you to travel with us! We negotiate extraordinary hotel discounts for our group because we want great vacations to be accessible for everyone. We reserve beautiful private spaces on these vacations so that members of our group can meet up and hangout with other people in recovery as often or as little as they wish. We host 12-step meetings at our hotel so that we can all maintain the priority of our recovery while exploring the world. We support the recovery community by creating safe spaces around the world to travel and fellowship together. Travel sober with us!
Our trip schedule includes Yosemite National Park, Aruba, Palm Springs, and San Juan. We all believe that people in recovery can have the adventures of their lifetime when traveling with a sober community throughout the world.
I struggled with alcoholism & addiction for 22 years before I finally got sober on July 20, 2018. I am also a veteran who served our great country, and battled addiction after leaving the military. I am one of the many listed here, and find veteran owned businesses to shop at.
In early sobriety, I went on an international vacation and quickly realized how important it is to stay connected to recovery friends while traveling sober. Vacations are a big challenge for people in sobriety who only have experience with trips that revolved around drinking. Today I am closely connected with my recovery community and know from personal experience that sober vacations are so much fun!
Sober Travel Solutions provides safe, sober spaces for all people in recovery to experience the world while also protecting and enhancing their sobriety. It is our vision to help sober travelers rediscover the joy and adventure in traveling the world while keeping their sobriety a top priority.
