We help people reach the summit of ice cream satisfaction, expanding their palates with creative flavor combinations they never knew they needed. I’ve worked in the food and beverage space for over 15 years, originally as a pastry chef working in fine dining. We pride ourselves in doing things differently – taking my pastry background and applying it, we make everything from scratch. It’s anything but vanilla. I also spent several years in the hospitality industry in other roles: sales, operations, and marketing – running a business brings together all of these skillsets.
As a former pastry chef, the need to create desserts never left me despite my best attempts to “grow up” and get a 9-5 job in hospitality. An ice cream business had been bubbling in the back of my mind for years, so I started experimenting and decided to start trying to actually sell it on a very small scale. I rationalized if all failed, I still had my day job. Until I didn’t.
I was laid off due to COVID in March 2020, a few weeks before I planned on launching. I had just moved to Denver and had no network to lean on – but I knew I had a great product that I believe in and decided to double down and launch it at the height of the pandemic. I’m on a mission to bring people high-quality, artisan ice cream made with local dairy in bold and unique flavors to elevate their palates.
