My business is a hair extensions and wigs company that also provides hair care products. I create wigs by sewing machine, customizing, and styling so the wigs can be ready to wear once it reaches the customer.

My business operates online and now recently I’ve moved to a physical location although I’m not open yet. I decided to start this business in 2014 with all the trials and failures. I stopped a few times but in 2018 I decided to learn to make wigs and in 2019 I introduced them to the community and in 2020 I registered my business.
Andasha’s story
I started right after wearing virgin hair extensions was introduced into my community. I live in buffalo, NY on the east side which is an urban area, buffalo is always a little behind on what trends. So once I started wearing extensions I started getting compliments on how my hair looked and people couldn’t believe how long the hair last. I had people recommend I start selling it but I had no direction on sales or business so when I did decide I’ll do it I failed. That didn’t stop me though I took a break from it during that break I did so much research on extensions and wigs. I looked into quality, cost, and quantity I communicated with women around me what they prefer if they were to shop with me and the feedback gave me a more positive outlook on what to produce to other people.
After testing out different vendors I finally came across 2-3 that would work for my business and my customers love it. Although I’m always looking and testing hair for better quality I have now what works and I’m happy to be one of the top hair dealers in my city.
