We apply scientific-based methods of teaching and learning to deliver high-quality courses which help increase student knowledge retention and improve employee performance.
We operate remotely and are a registered HUB business in North Carolina, SWaM in Virginia, and certified HUBZone with the federal government. I founded Motivate Learn in North Carolina in November of 2020, and the name is now a registered trademark. Previously, I was working as an independent contractor providing distance education services to universities and vocational schools; then, after numerous client referrals, I decided to establish Motivate Learn and work full-time on growing my business.
Since 2020, we have been collaborating with excellent clients and take great satisfaction in creating quality, technical, in-depth training. Knowledge retention is the goal and success is directly related to how well learners perform.
Motivate Learn is a HUBZone certified, woman-minority owned business based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our past performance, combined with our capability to create teaching and learning experiences that are efficient, effective, and engaging is what sets us apart from any other organization in our industry.
We support other women and minority businesses as well. Both through free classes and encourage the use of them. Find a minority and women owned business directory to shop at.
As an established Raleigh resident, and seasoned instructional design professional, I am trained to meet with customers to understand their challenges and then work with them to create online courses and virtual training that are both engaging and effective. I hold two Master’s Degrees, one in Learning Design & Technology and the second in Sociology, and I have developed over 500 e-learning courses.
My passion for e-learning started in 2011 when I began working for various colleges across the U.S. as a virtual instructor. After noticing the serious need for professionals with expertise in online course design and educational technology implementation, I chose to train and transition into the role of Instructional Designer.
I first stepped into entrepreneurship about seven years ago as an independent contractor providing distance education services to universities and vocational schools. Through client referrals, I began contracting with other organizations to complete similar projects and decided to establish Motivate Learn and work full-time on my business.
