Klassically Kute Designs, LLC is a children’s clothing and accessories boutique located in Biddeford, ME.
I work with amazing vendors who design unique and stylish kids clothing in limited quantities and I ensure these amazing brands are available at affordable price points to those within my community and anywhere in the USA. As an individual with a bit of a creative side, I took it upon myself to begin making kid-friendly jewelry and hair accessories for my customers to be able to accessorize according to their needs and style. Last year (2020), Klassically Kute Designs (KKD) was born out of the love for my twin daughters, who each love to showcase their own unique styles and personalities, and not wanting to look like the next kid their age. Therefore, KKD was born so that children can quality and unique apparel, all at affordable prices. We are…. Where Style Meets Purpose!
I was born and raised in Nebraska. Growing up in a low-income family, I understand the importance and value of finding quality and affordable clothing. I was raised by a single mother, who suffered for years with the effects of Lupus. After her death, I had to move in with my grandmother when I was only 11 years old. I slipped into a deep depression, unfortunately for me depression was frowned upon and the need for help was unheard of. I would sit and think about what I thought my mother would have wanted for me. I knew she would have wanted me to push through it all and make her proud. Needless to say, I persevered through it all as I am still alive today.
Over the years I have faced challenge after challenge and what does life do, it throws yet another curve ball. I was forced to live through a pandemic with a family of my own, while unemployed due to yet another relocation because of my spouse’s duty to his county, I knew something had to change. I worked in retail in the past and enjoyed it. I researched ideas for businesses and the thought of a kids clothing boutique sprang to mind after an incident where one of my twin girls saw yet another child with the exact same clothes on. My daughter was not happy about it. She wanted to be different. They both did. They wanted a way to better express themselves through their clothing.
My motivation is my family. Without the support of my husband and children, I would have given up a long time ago. Obviously, GOD had other plans.
