We source our ingredients from the same Northeast suppliers as other beer brands. What makes us unique is our authentic blend of flavors to create the true traditional tastes of our culture.
Juan’s story
About 7 years ago, after making my own Latin-inspired beer recipes at home I decided that I wanted to give my neighborhood its own Latin beer brand with unique recipes inspired by the people, flavor, and culture of Uptown NYC. I use to work in finance on “Wall St” and that quickly put together a business plan and visit breweries on the East Coast to produce my recipes for me in bottles and kegs. It took 18 months before I was able to quit my job and I started self-distributing all the beer and worked up the business to 125 accounts (bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and grocery stores) in NYC. I recently signed with a large distributor that is exponentially expanding the distribution of Dyckman Beer products.
I was born in the Dominican Republic and came to NYC at the age of 5. I feel proud of what I have built and I am excited to expand distribution into other states and other countries.
