Brightstar Consulting is an HR Training and Consulting business that started in 2008. Brightstar was started after attending a college employment fair for my employer. I saw a great need to help college students with resume preparation, professional presence, and interviewing skills. I worked to become certified and worked with students from Franklin University and was a member of their Resume Review team. I also worked with students at Columbus State Community College and did mock interviews to improve my skills so I could help others.
I completed my Master’s Degree in Education during this time. I have since expanded my expertise to federal resumes and volunteer my time working with soldiers and troops seeking resumes after military service.
I am also a veteran, black women and would like to expand my business to assist college students and military members as well as minorities, veterans, and other women. I want to pvodie them with career services and feel I have all of the needed training and skills to successfully get this business off the ground.
