A Girl Named Pinky is dedicated to delivering custom cakes and desserts for special occasions in the SF Bay Area.
My passion for baking begin in an innocent yet challenging way when I decided to take on the burden as a bride-to-be to make my wedding cake. I was determined to have things my way by creating a show-stopping delicious wedding cake. That’s when my research started reading books, consulting with professional bakers, and spending hours in the kitchen to learn how to bake from scratch. The results for my wedding cake did not disappoint. After the wedding, that’s when I started to get requests from family and friends to create baked goods, and that is how the business started. Through our signature cakes, cupcakes cookies, and other products. Our goal is to enhance your event to the point that when you think of your experience with us only joy adventure, and excitement comes to mind.
Hi, my name is Tina Stevens. I am the founder and owner of A Girl Named Pinky, a small business in the San Francisco Bay area. My brand is founded upon the belief that we need to celebrate the milestones made in life no matter how big or small. By living life to the fullest with that in mind, we are committed to helping you celebrate every occasion be it formal, informal, by injecting a pop of color style and design with our wide variety of Baked creations. We had the pleasure of having a kiosk on the UC Berkeley campus for two years but in 2020, our lease was not renewed and over the pandemic, we have been serving our customers through online orders and delivery.
I am eternally grateful for the support that has been given to A Girl Named Pinky this far. It is time now to start by expanding with the opportunity to open up a kiosk within our community. To connect with a wider client base and increase my product offerings which will include a sandwich, soup, salads, and high tea. My promise is to continually improve each customer experience while catering to individual needs both dietary and decorative. This growth will also allow me to add more people to my team by creating job opportunities and empowering them with a means to earn a living while connecting with our community on another level through service.
