Evelia Coyotzi, originally from Tlaxcala, Mexico, first started selling tamales, a traditional Mexican breakfast dish made from corn flour steamed in a corn husk, in a shopping cart in Queens. Since 2002, Evelia’s Tamales has been parked at the corner of Junction Blvd and Roosevelt Avenue in Corona, where it offers a wide variety of menu items just outside the 7 Train stop of Junction Boulevard.
