Coffee Del Mundo is a Afro-Latino owned specialty coffee company based in South Los Angeles, California. The Black and Latino owned businesses mission is to help people rediscover coffee the way it was meant to be enjoyed without all of those unnatural ingredients. To do this, we traveled and established relationships with many small farms around the world to bring you directly the best coffees in the world. Beans and supplies are brought from these companies, those keeping other minorities and indigent people employed.
We roast fresh to order to ensure the freshest coffee in the city! Visit us 24/7 online or at our weekend pop up shop. Or if you want, shop at Black or Latino owned coffee companies. As there are many other options out there.
This Afro-Latino-owned coffee shop was started in South Los Angeles and delivers nationwide. They work with small farmers around the world to get beans, packaged whole, in pods and for cold brews, to kitchens around the country. There is also a monthly subscription box for fresh coffee beans, cold brews, and other goods.
As a black and Afro-Latino founder, I wanted to create a menu designed for people of color in my community. The business also keeps low income and disadvantaged in Los Angeles employed. For many who do not know, cows originated in parts of Europe and India and play crucial roles in both European and South Asian culture throughout history and still do to this day.
Their bodies have had the time to evolve and adapt to be able to digest the larger sugars called lactose, which makes up around 2-8% of milk. We as blacks and latinos have only had a few hundred years of exposure to cows and even fewer years adopting it into our diets so we still have a very difficult time digesting those larger cow sugar molecules. Who says our bodies were even made to digest it?
This is why we created a 100% dairy free menu for our community here in South Central Los Angeles. We want everyone to be able to walk in and enjoy any item from our menu. Stop by today to try one of our House Specialty cold brews.
