My husband and I moved to Madison, WI in 2007. We both started to work in housekeeping at a hotel. Unfortunately, in this position we did not feel that our work was valued. When I started cleaning a family home, I felt very comfortable with the direct relationship I had with the client. I also felt appreciated and that my work was valued. This led us to start working directly with our own customers and we used free grants from government in Wisconsin as well as coaching services to help us launch our immigrant founded business.
My husband and I started Cabrera Cleaners, LLC in 2015. The decision to open our own company was driven by a desire to provide a quality service. Our company cleans homes and we really enjoy the personal and direct relationships we have with our clients, many of whom have been with us since we started. We had not considered changing what we do until the pandemic caused us to have to rethink our business model. We are not able to go into homes as freely as we used to. Many of our customers have stopped having their homes cleaned for now. We have studied the market and our services and reinvented ourselves. We have successfully moved to include cleaning carpets and floors for offices and commercial spaces. For now, we are renting specialized equipment for both carpet and floor cleaning which is very expensive. Investing in our own equipment will help us be more successful and profitable. For an even better service we plan on completing the classes at La Academia Latina, on Safety at Work, this will give a guarantee to our new clients that we are well trained and operating safely.
My husband and I have four children and appreciate the warmth and comfort of a home and we like to help others enjoy their homes too. Our experience has taught us what cleaning product to use where and when and we take great care to keep our customers and their pets safe.
We offer different cleaning frequencies according to your needs and preferences, including every week, every two weeks, every three weeks, every four weeks, monthly, and occasional or one-time cleans.
